History of One Central Dubai by DWTC 

The Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) initiated the redevelopment of the Trade Centre district. The plans were first announced in December 2005, and the project was officially rebranded as One Central in 2016. 

One Central was primarily designed with the objective of attracting multinational corporations by offering a strategic base for establishing permanent offices or regional headquarters in Dubai and the UAE in general.
